Whether you love or hate the Netflix romantic-comedy series Emily in Paris we can almost guarantee you’ll watch it anyways. For us, season three can’t come soon enough. To whet our appetite the streaming platform has released a first look at the upcoming release and just as expected it’s fabulous and fashion-fuelled.
Lily Collins will reprise her role as the loud and proud marketing executive Emily who was left with a major career choice of staying at Savoir or following Sylvie as she launched her own agency. While she might also be less “ignorant” to the French culture it appears her fashion is anything but Parisian chic as she continues to opt for her signature style cues: colour, print and more colour. The same could be said for her American best friend Mindy who is played by Ashley Park.
The first look also features Camille – played by true French girl Camille Razat – Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie and Lucas Bravo as Gabriel off the back off his film debut in Ticket to Paradise. Fans of the series would recall that Emily was also left with a choice between her French love interest and British expat Alfie played by Lucien Laviscount. Given he also makes a cameo in the first stills we’re still unsure who she chooses.
Collins shared her excitement for the new series on Instagram. “First look at @emilyinparis Saison Trois!! Get ready for new looks, new locations, new love triangles… Merci France for being a home away from home and embracing us yet again,” she wrote in a social media caption. “So proud of this cast and crew and cannot WAIT for you all to see what our girl Emily gets up to! Get ready for another wild ride…”
The series is created by Darren Starr and has been renewed for a third and fourth season. It is not known when the new season will be released so stay tuned!
